Job summary

Clear Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build a new EMS platform for listed futures and options in London. You will integrate real-time market data, low-latency execution, and robust risk controls with a fast web interface.

You’ll collaborate across product, traders and back-end teams to deliver high-quality experiences while upholding engineering standards and maintaining high SLAs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience using Java.
• 4+ years of experience with modern tech and senior-level responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience building low-latency, front-office trading systems.
• Deep understanding of execution management systems (EMS) and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build a brand new EMS platform for Listed Futures and Options.
• Translate product and design requirements into clean, maintainable components.
• Collaborate with product managers, traders, designers and back-end engineers.
• Identify and resolve performance, accessibility, and usability issues across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared component libraries.
