Job summary

Corpay is seeking a Senior Software Developer in London to help evolve the Cross-Border platform that powers international payments and FX capabilities. This hands-on role involves building scalable software, collaborating with product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver robust financial solutions.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain front-end and back-end components, follow Agile practices, and focus on performance, security, and maintainability within a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET across web and/or desktop applications.
• Experience with SQL Server and API development.
• Experience working in Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and address technical questions.
• Provide technical guidance to other developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help improve engineering practices across the team.
• Break down technical work into actionable tasks to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code by following Agile development practices, unit testing standards, continuous integration, and clean coding principles.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality software standards.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges from discovery through delivery while balancing maintainability, performance, security, and business value.
• Developing and maintaining application features with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA Engineers, and other Software Developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing systems to ensure stability and performance.
