RTX is recruiting a Lead Software Engineer in Winnersh (Hybrid) to design, develop and deliver high‑quality software within an agile team. The role focuses on integrating hardware, software and courseware components for UK armed forces projects, with collaboration across suppliers and end users.

You will drive technical direction, contribute to the product roadmap and ensure robust testing through unit and integration tests, while maintaining focus on security and performance in a defence

Competenze

• Strong experience in high level languages such as C#, Java or C++.
• Experience using development lifecycle tools like GitLab or Atlassian suite.
• Experience delivering to gov/defence customers.

Mansioni

• Design, build and run code using industry best practice.
• Contribute to the completion of features within the product roadmap.
• Perform first line peer reviews and provide direction and guidance around the review.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of practice and code within the team.
