RTX is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Winnersh, Wokingham, Hybrid role within the Training Transformation business unit. You will work on designing and delivering high-quality software for a complex device integration in a defence context, collaborating across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes innovation, hands-on development, and working in an Agile team with opportunities to influence architectural decisions and adopt modern testing practices.

Formación

• Strong experience in high-level languages such as C#, Java or C++.
• Experience with development lifecycle tools such as GitLab or the Atlassian suite.
• Experience delivering solutions to gov/defence customers.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and run code using industry best practice.
• Contribute to the completion of features within the product roadmap.
• Perform first line peer reviews and provide direction on the review.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of practice and code within the team.
• Provide technical direction within the team.
• Design and develop new product functionality.
• Contribute and produce test artefacts for CI/CD.
