Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United Kingdom seeks a Software Engineer III for Payments Technology to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable agentic commerce solutions. You will work on B2B agent platforms and data pipelines powering model training and agent retrieval.

You'll contribute to the NEO platform, apply AI-assisted development tools, and ensure security, CI/CD, and operational resilience in an agile team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python production coding experience.
• Experience with Databricks data pipelines for model training.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and security.
• CI/CD, observability, and testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of LLM-based development and evaluation.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and large structured datasets.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and event-driven services.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting for agent components.
• Build and maintain MCP servers for secure access to CRM and payments data.
• Develop production Python code and review others' code.
• Build data pipelines and feature engineering jobs on Databricks.
• Contribute to MLOps path for model training and deployment.
• Write evaluations for agent behaviour and instrument services with tracing.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Improve operational stability of agents and model services.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive team culture and practical training.
• Hands-on system design, testing, and operational stability.
