Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III for its Corporate and Investment Bank Payments Technology – Account Services to strengthen reliability, performance, and automation of mission-critical systems. You will design robust software, build automation, monitor health, and push for scalable, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java/Spring Boot, .NET).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and work independently or in teams.
Proactive in identifying and overcoming obstacles, with a passion for learning and innovation.
