JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to advance reliability, performance, and automation across critical banking systems.

You will design robust software, build deployment and monitoring tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale services in a cloud environment. The role emphasizes proactive incident resolution, infrastructure as code, and strong communication within a dynamic Payments Technology group.

Qualificações

Experience in Software Engineering or DevOps.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java/Spring Boot, .NET).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and work independently or in teams.
Proactive in identifying and overcoming obstacles, with a passion for learning and innovation.

Develop and maintain automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations to reduce manual intervention.
Monitor system performance, proactively address potential issues, and troubleshoot complex production incidents.
Implements infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for the applications and platforms.
Understands service level indicators and utilizes service level objectives to proactively resolve issues before they impact customers
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Document processes, share knowledge, and contribute to communities of practice and emerging technologies.
