JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate and Investment Bank Payments Technology – Account Services is seeking a Software Engineer III to address complex business challenges by developing robust software solutions and ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems.

You will work with development teams, automate deployment and monitoring, and contribute to a culture of learning, diversity, and inclusion while delivering scalable services for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of agile practices including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java/Spring Boot, .NET).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and work independently or in teams.
• Proactive in identifying and overcoming obstacles, with a passion for learning and innovation.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase in Corporate and Investment Bank Payments Technology – Account Services, you will address complex business challenges by developing clear and effective solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and services through advanced troubleshooting, automation, and monitoring, while working closely with development teams.
