Job summary

NewDay in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build internal tools, services, and platform capabilities that empower engineering teams. You will lead complex work end-to-end, mentor others, and shape better engineering practices. This hands-on role explores AI-assisted development responsibly.

You’ll collaborate with engineering leadership to influence roadmaps, ensure scalability, and deliver robust software with a focus on maintainability and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET or TypeScript and building REST APIs.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests across the SDLC with CI/CD practices.
• Ability to influence architecture decisions with a focus on resilience and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship high-quality software, including internal tools and platform capabilities.
• Lead complex engineering work end-to-end, collaborating with leadership and mentoring others.
• Contribute to architecture, CI/CD, observability, and documentation; write clear, useful technical guides.
