Job summary

Capital on Tap in London is seeking a Senior Engineer for Developer Enablement to shape our internal platform. You will own golden paths, guide the adoption of self-service tooling, and work in product teams to reduce friction.

Expect hands-on work with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and AI-assisted delivery, with two days in the office and three remote. You’ll mentor engineers and help define standards across services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in platform engineering, DevOps or developer tooling.
• Track record designing golden paths and self-service platforms.
• Deep CI/CD experience at scale across teams.
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker standards.
• Experience with GitOps and progressive delivery.
• Proficient in Terraform and cloud tooling.
• Languages: Go, C#, Python or PowerShell; .NET knowledge a plus.
• A strong product mindset and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the developer experience roadmap and golden paths.
• Define and implement self-service platforms enabling rapid, safe delivery.
• Lead by example with Kubernetes/Docker and platform tooling standards.
• Drive progressive delivery and GitOps practices across services.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices within the team.
