Job summary

NewDay Technology Limited is building an Engineering Enablement team and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving problems that make other engineers more effective. You'll design internal tools, services and platform capabilities to help engineering teams deliver safely and quickly, while influencing the roadmap.

This hands-on role involves leading complex work end-to-end, mentoring others, shaping engineering practices and exploring AI-assisted development tools when used

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET or TypeScript, including REST APIs.
• Experience with automated tests and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to influence architecture and system resilience.
• Experience leading end-to-end engineering work and mentoring others.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools and responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship internal tools and platform capabilities to boost engineering productivity.
• Lead complex work from idea to delivery, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Contribute to architecture, observability, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Support engineers through mentoring, reviews, and documentation.
