Job summary

AeroVect is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build high-performance behavior planning systems for autonomous driving in low-speed airport environments.

You will own core modules in the behavior planner, implement C++/Python code, optimize for real-time operation, and collaborate with autonomy engineering to deliver a market-defining RaaS product. You will guide multi-agent decision-making, model edge cases, and improve robustness across missions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, Robotics or a related field is required.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17) and Python for prototyping.
• 3+ years of industry experience in autonomous driving or robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced behavior planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust integration of planning systems.
• Design, write, and maintain scalable C++ and Python code.
• Contribute to the architecture and continuous improvement of behavior planning software.
• Test extensively in simulated and real-world environments to validate planning algorithms.
• Analyze system performance and implement enhancements based on data.
• Document code, algorithms, and system designs for maintainability.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams for seamless development.
