Job summary

AeroVect is advancing autonomous ground operations with a focus on robust, low-speed behavior planning for airside environments. You will design and implement key modules in the behavior planner, bridging mission goals and motion execution to handle complex, multi-agent scenarios.

The role involves building scalable C++/Python code, testing in simulated and real-world environments, and collaborating with the autonomy team to deliver a market-defining RaaS product. London-area office preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/Robotics or related field.
• Experience in autonomous driving/robotics.
• Strong coding skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with behavior planning & path planning algorithms.
• Hands-on with ROS/ROS2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced behavior planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust integration and functionality of planning systems.
• Design, write, and maintain efficient and scalable code in C++ and Python.
• Contribute to the architecture and continuous improvement of behavior planning software.
• Conduct extensive testing in simulated environments and real-world scenarios to validate and refine behavior planning algorithms.
• Analyze system performance and implement enhancements based on data and feedback.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, algorithms, and system designs.
• Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless coordination and development.
