Job summary

sees.ai, a London-based developer of autonomous inspection tech, seeks a Senior C++ Software Engineer to evolve a real-world platform for unmanned systems.

You’ll contribute across the core software stack, from flight control and autonomy to simulation and operator interfaces, with a fast feedback loop from field deployments. You’ll balance hands-on coding with architectural thinking in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in modern C++ (production systems).
• Solid understanding of software design, architecture, and debugging complex systems.
• Interest in robotics/autonomous systems (control systems, sensor fusion, path planning).
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Pragmatic mindset — balance speed, reliability, and real-world constraints.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining features across the unmanned systems software stack.
• Working on systems including flight and mission control, autonomy algorithms, 3D pilot interfaces, and connectivity.
• Debugging and improving system behaviour based on real-world feedback.
• Writing tests, documentation, and improving system reliability.
• Contributing to architecture and technical direction as we scale.
