Job summary

Infor MES is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance knowledge graphs and semantic modelling within our manufacturing AI-enabled platform. You will connect MES, IoT, and enterprise data into rich, contextual models that power diagnostics and decision support.

You will design scalable data architectures, collaborate with AI leads and engineering teams, and influence platform strategy while delivering enterprise-grade software.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise applications or platforms.
• Strong hands-on development with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data models.
• Experience with graph databases, knowledge graph technologies, or semantic modelling platforms.
• Experience developing APIs and services exposing complex data.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise and operational systems.
• Strong relational data modelling and information architecture understanding.
• Experience with cloud-native development and SaaS architectures.
• Understanding of ontology design, semantic modelling, or domain-driven design.
• Strong software architecture, scalability, reliability, and observability knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement knowledge graph solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Develop semantic models representing assets, equipment, materials, orders, processes, people, and events.
• Integrate MES, IoT, machine, and enterprise data sources into connected operational models.
• Build services and APIs exposing contextual manufacturing information for AI applications.
• Collaborate with Principal AI Lead on ontology strategies and modelling approaches.
• Design scalable architectures for ingesting and modelling industrial IoT data.
• Support AI reasoning, diagnostics, automation, and decision-support with rich context.
• Develop solutions enabling real-time and near real-time operational intelligence.
• Evaluate emerging knowledge graph and AI technologies for the platform.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, standards, and long-term platform strategy.
