Job summary

Reply is seeking a Data and Knowledge Graph Engineer to design and build semantic layers, ontologies and knowledge graphs that connect data, systems, applications and AI solutions. You will own end-to-end technical design from discovery to production, creating robust foundations for integration, governance, analytics and generative AI.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent hands-on experience in CS or related fields.
• Proven experience delivering semantic layers, ontologies and knowledge graphs into production.
• Strong knowledge of RDF/OWL, SPARQL and graph databases (Neo4j/GraphDB).
• Solid Python skills for data integration, pipelines and automation.
• Experience with modern data architectures, governance, and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLMs, including embeddings, RAG and agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery and model key domains with business and technical stakeholders.
• Design, build and maintain scalable ontologies, taxonomies and semantic models.
• Develop and operate knowledge graphs end-to-end: ingestion, mapping and entity resolution.
• Connect data across disparate systems using semantic technologies for better integration.
• Create and optimize graph queries; expose data via APIs and services.
• Integrate knowledge graphs with AI solutions for grounded insights and analytics.
• Prototype and productionise AI-powered features including prompt engineering and evaluation.
• Advise on semantic architecture, governance and reusable standards.
