Job summary

Infor MES is seeking a Principal AI Lead to define and drive the technical strategy for AI across the MES platform and Manufacturing portfolio, based in Farnborough. You will architect AI systems, build production AI features, lead multiple engineering teams, and partner with Product Management to align AI investments with customer needs; contribute to governance and security standards.

The role offers hands-on engineering leadership in a cloud-native, SaaS environment and a chance to shape AI

Qualifications

• Software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications.
• Hands-on development with modern engineering practices.
• Proven AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with cloud-native SaaS architectures and API design.

Responsibilities

• Define AI architecture, standards, and strategy for MES and Manufacturing portfolio.
• Design scalable, secure AI-enabled features using cloud-native SaaS principles.
• Build production AI feature sets, reference implementations, and reusable platform components.
• Define API strategies and integration patterns for AI with MES processes.
• Mentor engineers and provide architectural leadership across multiple teams.
