Job summary

Infor Farnborough is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build integration frameworks and services that connect AI technologies with the Infor MES platform and broader Manufacturing portfolio. You will deliver secure, scalable integration patterns enabling AI-driven experiences across production data and workflows.

Collaborating with the Principal AI Lead, Product Management, and cloud teams, you will implement reusable toolchains, APIs, and orchestration services, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background delivering enterprise applications or platforms.
• Strong hands-on development with C# and .NET.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
• Experience designing integrations between enterprise apps and services.
• Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of architecture, security, scalability, reliability, observability.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building integrations between MES services and AI platforms.
• Developing tools, connectors, and orchestration services for AI agents and applications.
• Building secure APIs and service layers exposing MES capabilities to AI-enabled solutions.
• Developing reusable frameworks and patterns for tool execution and workflow orchestration.
• Collaborating with Principal AI Lead on integration standards and architectural approaches.
• Partnering with cloud, product, and engineering teams to deliver AI-enabled manufacturing solutions.
• Supporting development of intelligent workflows across production, quality, maintenance, inventory, warehouse, and connected worker operations.
• Designing event-driven integration patterns using cloud-native approaches.
• Evaluating emerging AI integration technologies and engineering practices.
• Establishing engineering standards for security, observability, resiliency, maintainability.
• Contributing to technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers as AI capabilities scale.
