Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to lead cutting-edge AI research for Teamcenter BOM challenges. You will design and prototype model architectures, build Generative AI agents for enterprise workflows, and create robust training pipelines that enable rapid experimentation and deployment at scale.

We value hands-on expertise with LLMs, reinforcement learning, and agentic systems, along with strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering advanced AI systems from research to production.
• Deep expertise in modern AI, including LLMs and generative models.
• Proven ability to design novel model architectures and iterate towards measurable outcomes.
• Experience building automated training pipelines and scalable evaluation.
• Experience applying reinforcement learning in real products or research.

Responsibilities

• Lead cutting-edge research and development of state-of-the-art AI models for Design and Manufacturing within the Teamcenter BOM portfolio.
• Design, prototype, and build novel model architectures that push product boundaries.
• Architect and implement Generative AI agents for enterprise engineering workflows.
• Build robust training pipelines enabling rapid experimentation and retraining at scale.
• Define evaluation frameworks to ensure model quality, robustness, and reliability.
• Turn ideas into patents and shipped features, collaborating with engineering and product teams.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across research and production.
