Job summary

Pendo in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape and ship AI-powered product experiences. You will work full-stack with a frontend lean, using TypeScript, Vue.js, and AI tools to build high-quality features on a small, fast-moving team.

You’ll own product judgment, validate problems with customers, define success metrics, and collaborate with product, design, and fellow engineers to move fast while delivering reliable, user-friendly software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLMs/AI agents in production or personal projects.
• Strong frontend emphasis with full-stack capabilities.
• 3+ years building and scaling web apps.
• Strong product judgment; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Ability to define success metrics and iterate from data.
• Experience engaging with customers to validate problems.
• Solid software architecture and API design knowledge.
• Clear communication; capable of mentoring teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-powered features end-to-end across frontend and backend.
• Own delivery with TypeScript, Vue.js, DOM work, and APIs.
• Participate in product discovery with customer feedback.
• Define success metrics and drive iteration based on usage data.
• Maintain code quality and mentor teammates; uphold engineering standards.
