Pendo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, ownership-focused team building AI-powered product experiences. You’ll work end-to-end across frontend and backend with a TypeScript/UIs focus and apply AI tools in daily development.

You’ll join customer calls, validate problems, and shape scope before development to deliver meaningful customer impact. You’ll design scalable APIs, mentor teammates, and maintain high-quality code while balancing latency, reliability, and user trust in

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agents in production or personal projects.
• Full-stack engineering with frontend emphasis and TypeScript skills.
• 3+ years building and scaling web applications.
• Strong product judgment; able to own ambiguous problems.
• Experience defining success metrics and iterating from usage data.
• Experience engaging with customers to validate problems and measure impact.
• Strong software architecture knowledge and API development experience.
• Clear communication; ability to mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• AI-powered feature delivery across frontend/backend with emphasis on quality and usability.
• Own delivery across frontend and backend, focusing on TypeScript and DOM-level work.
• Participate in product discovery and validate problems with customer feedback.
• Define success metrics for features and guide iteration using usage data.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers in a small, ownership-driven team.
• Review AI-generated code with care and maintain engineering standards.
