Job summary

Pendo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Sheffield to help shape and ship intelligent product experiences. You will build end-to-end features with a frontend lean, using TypeScript, Vue.js, backend services, and AI coding tools in a small, fast-moving team.

You will own product judgment, validate problems with customers, define success metrics, and iterate based on real usage data, while upholding engineering standards and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents.
• Full-stack engineering with a frontend lean, including strong TypeScript skills and DOM reasoning.
• 3+ years of experience building and scaling web applications.
• Strong product judgment, including comfort owning ambiguous problems, shaping scope, and making decisions without a fully specified brief.
• Experience defining success metrics for a feature and iterating based on real usage data.
• Experience engaging directly with customers or end users to validate problems and assess impact after launch.
• Strong grasp of software architecture, design principles, and API development.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to mentor others, unblock teammates, and support the growth of the engineering team.

• Product discovery: validate problems, shape scope, and test direction with customers.
