Job summary

Harnham is seeking a hands-on engineer to own a business-critical platform, delivering high-quality software across PHP/Laravel and React, and driving platform scalability.

You will take ownership of major engineering initiatives and collaborate with Product, Data and QA teams to enhance testing, CI/CD, and release processes while reducing technical debt.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP and Laravel expertise in production environments.
• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience owning releases and delivering software into production.
• PostgreSQL database design, optimisation and migrations.
• AWS environments, ideally serverless architectures and Laravel Vapor.
• CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions.

THE BENEFITS:

You will receive a salary of up to £85,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
