Harnham is seeking a PHP/Laravel developer to help drive a technology transformation within a financial services environment.

You will work on modern internal platforms using Laravel and Vue.js, contributing to greenfield development while modernising existing systems and reducing technical debt.

This hybrid role offers up to £50,000, with 2 days per week in the office and a competitive benefits package.

• Proven PHP/Laravel development experience.

• Experience in collaborative development environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a financial services business undergoing a major technology transformation. THE ROLE

• Develop and enhance functionality across modern PHP/Laravel applications
• Contribute to a greenfield platform while modernising existing systems and reducing technical debt
• Build APIs, integrations and user-facing functionality alongside developers, QA and business stakeholders
• Play a key role in technical discussions, code quality, architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiatives

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Commercial experience developing applications with PHP and Laravel
• Experience working with APIs, relational databases and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience maintaining existing applications and working within collaborative development environments
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, Inertia.js, Redis or authentication technologies would be advantageous
