Job summary

Fort is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its growing tech-led team in Warrington. This hybrid role involves hands-on PHP/Laravel work on a high-traffic customer platform.

You will contribute to building, modernising, and integrating APIs and services, collaborating with a Technical Lead and external partners, with a focus on code quality and scalable design.

The role offers up to £65,000, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, and birthday off, with one day per week on site in Warrington.

Senior Software Engineer (Laravel / PHP)

Hybrid – Warrington (1 day per week)

We’re working with a growing, technology-led business that operates a high-traffic, customer-facing digital platform at the core of its operations.

They’ve recently appointed a Technical Development Lead and strengthened their in-house engineering team with both Senior and Mid-Level Developers. They’re continuing to grow and are now looking for another experienced PHP/Laravel Engineer to help develop and enhance their business-critical customer application platform, modernise legacy systems and play a key role in its future development.

The What?

You’ll be working on a high-volume application platform, primarily built in Laravel, with some legacy PHP components still in place.
