Job summary

Raytheon UK in Gloucester/Manchester is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build software across AI, cloud, and cyber domains. Hybrid role with three days on site when required, and full-time on site during eDV clearance periods.

You will work in a mature agile environment, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver milestones and continuous improvements while leveraging React, NextJS, TypeScript, Python, Java, and cloud services across AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• Core Software Engineering such as: JavaScript frameworks (React, NextJS), TypeScript, Python or Java REST API development / OpenAPI / Swagger
• Cloud services (AWS or Azure)
• Containerisation & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Relational Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Elasticsearch / Opensearch
• Unit testing and automation / Testing frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Jest, Cypress)
• Experience working in an Agile delivery team

• Experience working in an Agile delivery team
