Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to own technical delivery of AI-enabled SaaS in a logistics business based in Ramsgate, Kent. You will turn ambitious ideas into reliable software and help build the foundations of a commercial SaaS product.

Join a small team, influence architecture, mentor colleagues, and work on dispatch, driver management, AI automation and integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS applications and delivering production-ready software.
• Strong frontend with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Backend experience with Python or Node.js and API development.
• Experience with AI-enabled applications and AI models.
• Ability to own projects, drive decisions and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from requirements to deployment and support.
• Develop full-stack apps, backend services and APIs.
• Prepare apps for commercial use with reliability and security.
• Build AI-enabled features, automation and integrations.
• Collaborate with founder and teams to turn ideas into software.
• Contribute to architecture, standards, and roadmap.
• Mentor other developers through code reviews and guidance.
