Oxford Instruments Andor is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Software and Driver Development Team in Belfast. You will work on software and driver development, contribute to product requirements, and support customers and manufacturing in a permanent, hybrid role.

The ideal candidate has a BSc/BEng in a relevant field, 5+ years in software development, and strong scripting, OO design, and lifecycle experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work model.

We are hiring for a Senior Software Developer who will work within the Software and Driver Development Team, extending and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio. The role spans software and driver development, product requirements management, and support for customers and manufacturing.

The Senior Software Developer will have:

• BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering/Physics or equivalent relevant qualification OR equivalent relevant experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in
  • Software developer role
  • source control
  • object orientated design using industry standard techniques and tools
• Proficient at scripting and programming
• Experience in the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering to test and support.
