Connect2Luton, on behalf of Luton Borough Council, seeks a Senior Social Worker MASH to prioritise the most vulnerable and at-risk children and families. You will signpost or hand over contacts to appropriate staff to ensure timely, high-quality action.

Responsibilities include handling diverse enquiries, managing complex caseloads, and coordinating with partner agencies within the MASH, employing advanced safeguarding knowledge and professional judgment.

Competenze

• Substantial post-qualifying experience in child and family social work.
• Experience coaching/mentoring and practice teaching.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and practical application.

Mansioni

• Work with the MASH Deputy Team Manager to handle enquiries from diverse sources.
• Manage a complex caseload of initial contacts for vulnerable children and families.
• Demonstrate advanced professional knowledge and safeguarding practice.
• Gather, record and analyse sensitive data on the relevant database.
• Take ownership of enquiries and provide progress updates to referrers.
• Liaise with partner agencies within/outside the MASH in response to contacts.
