CIH International Housing Group in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Social Work Practitioner to join the Homelessness Intervention Team for a 3-month locum assignment. Responsibilities

• Provide specialist social work support and intervention to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify needs, risks, strengths and appropriate support pathways.
• Develop and implement effective case management plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with local authorities, charities, housing providers and other agencies to secure sustainable housing solutions.
• Advocate for service users, ensuring access to housing, health, social care and community resources.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
• Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns and promote independence and positive outcomes.
