Job summary

Good Shepherd Services, Ltd in Wolverhampton is seeking a Senior Key Worker to deliver enhanced homelessness prevention and tenancy sustainment support. You will manage a caseload, provide 1:1 support, and coordinate day centre activities.

The role involves partnership work with Citizens Advice Wolverhampton, peer navigator development, and practical crisis response to move clients toward stable accommodation and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, insecure housing, poverty, exclusion or multiple disadvantage.
• Ability to build trusting relationships and support engagement.
• Strong partnership working and coordination across agencies.

Responsibilities

• Hold and actively manage a caseload with flexible, 1:1 support.
• Conduct initial conversations, triage and needs-led assessments.
• Develop and review support plans focused on housing, tenancy sustainment and wellbeing.
• Assist access to accommodation and tenancy sustainment.
• Coordinate day centre activities, rooms, breakfast, showers and crisis response.
• Collaborate with Citizens Advice Wolverhampton for housing, benefits, debt and related support.
• Support peer navigators and lived experience roles.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting.
