What’s the role?

We’re hiring a Senior Social Media Producer to support our organic social team at Wise for a 12-month fixed contract (maternity cover).

Do you know how to create content that captures attention, encourages comments, engagement, and direct messages in specific markets?

This team manages Wise’s strategy and presence on organic social channels to reach new audiences and drive customer growth. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in growing local channels across social platforms for audiences in Australia, Canada, and the US, understanding what makes content shareable and engaging for these markets.

The team includes content creators and social media executives responsible for their own production and creative output. This role will support the team lead in scaling our presence and strategy by building and growing new localised channel pages.

Our vision is to be the most fun and entertaining finance brand on social media.

Your mission

1. Support the organic social team lead with strategy development and execution in key English-speaking markets.
2. Grow visibility, engagement, and audiences for new platform pages in key markets.
3. Produce highly localised relevant content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
4. Coordinate with other teams on regional campaigns and determine social-first execution strategies.
5. Contribute to monthly reporting on platform performance to communicate progress effectively.
6. Collaborate with existing content creators to ensure alignment with Wise’s brand and core messaging.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

• Is highly aware of current trends and social reactions, making content relevant and timely.
• Has experience creating high-reach content independently, with limited budgets.
• Can demonstrate a strategy that increases reach and engagement for target audiences.
• Has excellent knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Is proficient with content creation tools like Figma.
• Experience with video editing tools such as Capcut or Premiere Pro is a plus but not essential.
• Possesses a natural flair for creating punchy, engaging copy.
