Job summary

Anson McCade are seeking an experienced Lead SOC Architect to shape and deliver next‑generation SOC capabilities for complex environments. You will influence security strategy, architecture, and operations while collaborating with senior stakeholders on large-scale cyber security programmes.

The role covers designing SOC solutions across people, process, technology, and governance, integrating SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intelligence, with hybrid on-site and cloud projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' commercial SOC architecture design experience.
• Deep understanding of security operations, incident detection and threat management.
• Experience with cloud and on-premise security architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of SOC solutions across people, process, technology, governance, and infrastructure layers.
• Engage with customers and senior stakeholders to translate security requirements into SOC strategies and operating models.
• Produce high and low-level designs, CONOPS, and solution architectures.
