Job summary

Anson McCade partners with a leading Defence technology organisation to recruit a Lead SOC Architect who will design and deliver complex SOC solutions across people, processes, and technology.

You will architect SOC solutions from concept to deployment, design SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management, and develop CONOPS and operating models. DV clearance desired, SC clearance essential.

Hybrid work in Guildford or Frimley, with up to £100,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Senior SOC architect with enterprise-scale design experience.
• Experience designing and deploying SOC capabilities like SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders to define security requirements.
• SC clearance essential; DV desirable.

Responsibilities

This is a senior architecture role covering the full SOC landscape — from people, process and service design through to technology and physical infrastructure.

The role will involve:

• Architecting SOC solutions from concept through to deployment
• Designing SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management capabilities
• Developing SOC operating models, CONOPS and security architectures
• Working with senior client stakeholders to define security requirements
