Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to design and embed strong security practices across cloud platforms. You will guide secure design and delivery within Agile teams, mentor staff, and help protect critical digital services. This remote-first role offers opportunities for technical leadership and growth across the UK.

You will apply security standards, lead security engineers, and collaborate with clients to implement best-practice security controls and mitigations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in designing secure cloud architectures.
• Experience mentoring security engineers and teams.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, and supply chain security.
• Penetration testing certifications (e.g., OSCP, CREST, TIGER) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure cloud services.
• Identify security issues in designs and mitigate risks.
• Apply standards (NCSC, ISO, NIST, PCI, GDPR) across solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge with teams.
• Work with CI/CD and automated security testing.
• Communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead security engineers and teams.
