Job summary

Anson Mccade is seeking an experienced Lead SOC Architect to design, implement and mature Security Operations Centre capabilities for complex, security‑critical environments in the Defence and Government sectors.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, craft end‑to‑end SOC solutions across people, processes, technology and infrastructure, and guide delivery from concept through to operational readiness in a hybrid Guildford/Frimley setting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, building or deploying Security Operations Centre solutions.
• Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and understand security requirements.
• Experience with end-to-end SOC design across people, process, policy, services and technology.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand security and accreditation requirements.
• Architect end-to-end SOC solutions across services, people, policy, processes and technology.
• Develop CONOPS, high- and low-level designs and deployment‑level designs.
• Design and integrate a range of security technologies and tooling.
• Advise on security risks and mitigation strategies.
• Design scalable, resilient on‑premise and cloud‑based architectures.
