Job summary

Pulse in Brighton is urgently seeking a Speech & Language Therapist for an 8-week temporary assignment in Brighton. The role requires experience with Dysphagia and adult acute care, with Band 6 competency for dysphagia and Band 7 for both dysphagia and tracheostomy care.

You will manage your own caseload and provide leadership within the therapy team, working with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
• HCPC registration with current status.
• Experience with dysphagia in adults or children.
• Knowledge of governance and audit processes.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own clinical caseload.
• Provide clinical and operational leadership to our therapy team.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver cost-effective services.
• Be a key player in pupil referrals and therapy service optimization.
• Oversee the financial and resource management within the therapies department.
• Champion continuous professional development, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
