Job summary

St Bartholomew's School is seeking a full-time Senior Site Supervisor to manage the day-to-day maintenance and operation of essential building services, including plumbing, BMS, intruder and fire protection systems. The role requires leadership of the Site team in the Estates Manager's absence and responsibility for site security, opening and closing procedures, and liaising with external contractors.

• Oversee secure opening/closing of the school and overall site security; work with contractors to meet health and safety standards.

Job description

We are looking for a full-time-time Senior Site Supervisor to join us on as soon as possible on a permanent basis. Please note that this is not a term-time only role.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, efficient, sustainable and fit for purpose. They will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of key building services, including plumbing, BMS, intruder and fire protection systems, as well as associated plant room equipment. Working closely with colleagues and contractors, they will help ensure that the school’s buildings, facilities and equipment operate to a consistently high standard, supporting an excellent learning environment and the health and safety of the whole school community.

In the absence of the Estates Manager, the postholder will provide day-to-day leadership of the Site team, managing priorities and ensuring that maintenance and operational requirements are addressed effectively. As a key holder, they will also take some responsibility for the secure opening and closing of the school and the overall security of the site.

HOURS: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks pa. Hours will be on a shift basis between the hours of 6.00am to 9.00pm, with some weekend working.

SALARY: £29071.00 - £31015.00 gross pa (£15.07 - £16.08 per hour)
