Job summary

St Bartholomew's School is seeking a Site Supervisor on a casual basis to cover weekends, primarily Sundays. You will join a friendly Site team and help keep daily operations smooth, including opening/closing the site and handling deliveries.

You should communicate well, stay organised, and be able to work with minimal supervision while remaining calm under pressure and engaging with people on campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or facilities support is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Open/close sites, handle post, replenish supplies, and set up equipment and furniture.

Job description

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join us on a casual basis as soon as possible. The role is to provide cover predominately at the weekends, particularly on a Sunday.

We are looking for someone to become a member of our friendly and supportive Site team, assisting in the day-to-day smooth running of the School. You will be involved in a wide range of caretaking activities which includes being a key holder and opening/closing of the site delivery of post, replenishment of supplies, setting up equipment and furniture in rooms and ensuring that the site is a safe environment for our School community at all times. There is also an opportunity to learn a range of maintenance and repair skills.

You should be a flexible team member who is a good communicator, helpful with lots of initiative, well organised and able to work on your own with minimal supervision and with team members. If you have the ability to stay calm under pressure and enjoy working with people, we would like to hear from you!

HOURS: This is a zero hours contract and although appropriate work may be offered to you if it is available, there is no obligation for the school to do so and you are under no obligation to accept any work offered.

SALARY: £15.44 per hour which includes holiday pay and will be paid on a casual timesheet basis (equates to a salary of £26016.00 gross pa).
