Job summary

Wates is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead multiple refurbishment and maintenance projects from site level in the Crawley area. You will manage day-to-day site operations, motivate operatives and subcontractors, and ensure health and safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership, communication, and commercial awareness are essential as you build client relationships and monitor programme delivery with the commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, refurbishment, or housing maintenance projects.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer and client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and maintenance projects.
• Lead and motivate operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.
