Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager to lead demolition, dismantling and enabling works on a high-profile nuclear decommissioning project in North Wales. You will oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work is planned, resourced and executed safely, on time, and within budget.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive safety culture, manage CDM RAMS compliance and coordinate with clients and stakeholders across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Essential site management experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering operations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Managing demolition, dismantling and enabling works on site
• Leading site teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers
• Planning labour, plant, materials and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with RAMS, Permit to Work systems and CDM Regulations
• Conducting site inspections, safety tours and toolbox talks
• Monitoring programme performance and coordinating daily activities
• Liaising with the client and key project stakeholders
• Supporting quality assurance, inspections and project documentation
• Assisting with cost control, productivity and resource management
