Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Site Manager to own delivery on site across major construction projects. You will lead subcontractors and on-site teams, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality stay on track while enforcing rigorous health and safety standards.

You will collaborate with project managers, clients and design teams to proactively resolve issues. Applicants should have proven site management experience on large schemes, possess SMSTS and CSCS Black Card,

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS certification (Black card) required.
• First Aid qualification desirable.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage large teams.
• Good knowledge of building regulations and NEC/JCT contracts.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day site operations for large-scale projects in Birmingham, keeping programme, budget and quality on track.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams, coordinate trades to avoid delays.
• Enforce health and safety standards on site, including inductions, RAMS review and audits.
• Liaise with project managers, clients and design teams to resolve issues before they arise.
• Monitor progress against programme and report variances, risks and mitigations to leadership.
• Oversee quality control and snagging to ensure work meets specs and regulations.
