Job summary

Constructive Moves Ltd. is seeking a Senior Site Manager with a strong background in external works for a large residential development in South East London.

You will manage external packages, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain programme, quality and safety standards on a busy 20-storey scheme. Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the role requires proven experience in RC Frame and brickwork, precast cladding, and high standards of site leadership.

Qualifications

• Solid track record in residential construction
• Proven experience with RC Frame residential developments
• Strong external works experience including brickwork and precast cladding
• Experience on schemes up to 20 storeys
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
• Demonstrates leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Focused on programme, quality and health & safety standards

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate external packages across a major residential development
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to quality standards
• Maintain programme, quality and health & safety benchmarks

Senior Site Manager - Externals

South East London | Residential Development | £Competitive + Package

The Opportunity

A leading contractor/developer is embarking on a major new 500-unit luxury residential development in South East London, with the project scheduled for completion over the next four years.

As part of the continued growth of the project team, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in external works to take responsibility for key packages throughout the build.

The development will comprise high-quality RC frame apartments, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional standards across the external envelope and finishes.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating external packages across the development, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The successful Site Manager will have proven experience working on large-scale residential schemes and a strong understanding of:

• Piling and RC Frame construction

• Brickwork packages

• Precast cladding systems

• External envelope and façade works

• High-rise residential developments of up to 20 storeys

• Managing subcontractors and specialist external trades

• Maintaining programme, quality and health & safety standards

This is a fast-paced project with an ambitious build programme, so we are looking for driven, organised and proactive Site Managers who thrive in a demanding site environment and take pride in delivering high-quality residential schemes.
