Job summary

Blayze Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a flagship regeneration scheme in North London on a long-term contract (12 months+). You will support the Senior Externals Manager in delivering external works for seven RC frame residential blocks, ensuring safety, quality and on‑programme completion.

The role requires experience on large RC frame developments, subcontractor management, and relevant certificates (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid).

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on large RC frame residential developments.
• Experience overseeing external packages: brickwork, roofing, landscaping and balconies.
• Strong subcontractor management and communication skills.
• Certifications: SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
• Proactive with emphasis on quality, health, safety and programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Externals Manager with day-to-day delivery of external works.
• Manage specialist subcontractors across brickwork, roofing, balconies and landscaping.
• Monitor quality, programme and health & safety on site.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure works meet specification.
• Attend subcontractor meetings and report progress.
• Maintain site records and support milestone delivery.

Long-term Contract (12 months+, with the potential to extend)

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join one of the UK's leading residential developers on a major flagship regeneration scheme in North London.

Reporting to the Senior Externals Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of the external works across a number of RC frame residential blocks, ensuring packages are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

The development comprises seven RC frame residential blocks, with the structural frames and façade packages progressing well.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting the Senior Externals Manager with the day-to-day delivery of external works.
• Managing specialist subcontractors across traditional brickwork, roofing, bolt-on balconies, and hard & soft landscaping packages.
• Monitoring quality, programme and health & safety on site.
• Coordinating inspections and ensuring works are completed to specification.
• Attending subcontractor meetings and reporting on progress.
• Maintaining accurate site records and supporting the successful delivery of project milestones.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on large RC frame residential developments.
• Experience overseeing external packages, including brickwork, roofing, landscaping and balconies.
• Good subcontractor management and communication skills.
• SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
• A proactive attitude with a strong focus on quality, health & safety and programme.
