Job summary

Gleeson is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a high-performing on-site construction team on a high-volume housing development. You will collaborate with external partners and our on-site Sales team to deliver quality homes while maintaining safety and programme targets.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of NHBC and Building Regulations, a full UK driving licence, and experience managing labour-only sub-contractors. Zutec and digital plot books experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

Experience as a Site Manager on high-volume housing developments.
Extensive knowledge of managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes.
Strong commercial awareness.
Awareness of NHBC and Building Regulations.
Ability to use Zutec and Digital plot books.

Responsibilities

Managing the development to maintain and deliver the build programme within budgets and forecasts.
Ensuring the final product meets Gleeson Homes standards.
Full responsibility and control of all site staff and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety standards.
Liaison with head office, NHBC and local authority departments.
Timely ordering of materials to meet the build programme.
Ensure NHBC inspections are carried out as required.
Carry out handover inspections with customers per procedures.
Address customer care defects with the team.
Promote a philosophy of safety, progress, quality and innovation.
