Job summary

Gleeson seeks an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our on-site construction team. You will work with external partners and subcontractors while collaborating with the onsite Sales team to deliver high-volume, affordable homes.

A strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a CSCS card, SMSTS, and a Level 4 NVQ in Construction Site Supervision, with driving licence and First Aid at Work an advantage.

Qualifications

Must have CSCS card and SMSTS
NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervision or equivalent
First Aid at Work certification desirable
CISRS Scaffold card
Full UK driving licence required
Good knowledge of construction methods and NHBC/building regs

Responsibilities

Lead and reinforce directions from Site and Contracts manager to deliver developments safely and on schedule
Ensure safe running of site and compliance with Home Safe procedures
Support onsite Construction and Customer Care responsibilities
Manage defects post-completion timely to achieve 5* customer satisfaction
Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers, internal and external
Engage with local communities and push the Gleeson model
Utilise Zutec and Digital Plot Books to track progress
