Contract Scotland in Elgin is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations on a £16m construction project. You will coordinate multiple trades, manage specialist subcontractors and drive progress safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a solid background in complex builds. A full UK driving licence and health & safety credentials are essential.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-value, complex projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and specialist subcontractors; strong sequencing and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and delivery mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements; SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site running.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Plan and sequence works to maintain programme progress.
• Ensure works meet quality and specification.
• Coordinate specialist subcontractors and complex services.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and resources.
• Monitor progress against construction programme.
• Identify delays and implement solutions; ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and regular meetings.
• Maintain site records and documentation.
• Liaise with client, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage snagging, defects and completion.
• Maintain professional, safe site environment.
