Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major Edinburgh development. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers while upholding strict health and safety, quality, and programme standards.

The role requires a proactive, hands-on approach and proven leadership on similar projects. The successful candidate will have SMSTS or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in both new-build and refurbishment works.

Qualifications

• Evidence of site management on building projects.
• SMSTS qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with both new-build and refurbishment works.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for safe, efficient delivery of your section of the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Maintain site records and inspections.
• Support the Project Manager to deliver on time and to budget.
