Job summary

RG Setsquare seeks a Senior Site Manager to deliver a £6m, 12‑month padel court project at an existing Leisure Centre in Surrey. You will operate standalone and report to a visiting contracts manager, coordinating demolition, groundworks, piling, foundations and a timber frame with external fit-out.

Responsibilities include sequencing, short-term programming, trade management, site inductions, permit issuance, toolbox talks, and enforcing tight deadlines while upholding H&S standards.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS-Black and First Aid qualifications are required.
• Experience delivering mid-sized, external-fit-out developments.
• Ability to operate standalone and report to a visiting contracts manager.

Responsibilities

• Sequencing work packages and short-term programming.
• Trade management and site inductions for multiple trades.
• Raise permits and run toolbox talks on site.
• Work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and safety.
• Influence health & safety practices on site and QA processes.

Job description

I am currently in need of a Senior Site Manager for a 6 million new build Padel Court project in Surrey to an existing Leisure Centre. The project consists of 6 new build courts with works including demolition of an existing building and then groundworks, piling, foundations, and frame so it is external focused with a standard fit out of the courts. The project is live from mid-September and is due to run for 12 months.

The Candidate - must be capable of operating standalone and report into a visiting contracts manager on progress.
