Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Site Manager role at Vistry Group.

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team within Vistry Southern, at our Woking site in Surrey. As our Senior Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a challenging town center construction site, comprising 3 blocks with 72 apartments. Your responsibilities include ensuring project completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Experience working with NHBC standards, managing teams, coordinating resources, enforcing health and safety regulations, and liaising with contractors and stakeholders is essential. The scheme is scheduled for completion in January 2026, with two blocks currently at the watertight stage.

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience in new build apartment and housing site management
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• Leadership skills, team management, and stakeholder relationship building
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 4/5/6, BTEC in Building Construction, or similar
• Valid certificates including Scaffold Appreciation, CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, LOLER, and CITB SEATS

Role responsibilities include:

• Overseeing site operations, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and budgets
• Promoting safety culture, conducting site inspections, and managing resources
• Coordinating with teams, managing performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Supporting site logistics, documentation, and project closeout
